It is not too late to change what makes you happy

Is it worth trying? I wanted to leave my city to go to college abroad, not because of the profession or the college itself, but because I wanted to leave that place. I am a very close person to my family, so it was really something inside of me that told me to go. After that, I never stopped and continue to this day. Most of the time I don’t really know what I’m doing with my life, but I gave myself a chance to try and follow my purpose.

Why did I choose to study law? After much analysis I realized that it was 90% due to the prestige of the profession and 10% because I thought I would find a way to help animals. Don’t get me wrong, my goal has always been with animals, but with the age that I was and the maturity of the time, I couldn’t make my best choice. Or I did it, because otherwise I wouldn’t be here today.

I say that it is never too late and also that everyone has their time. I studied 5 years of law, I did two masters in this area. I came to Barcelona to do the last master’s degree. I worked in a fast food chain, then in a call center and, finally, I went to a company that moderates digital content and now I’m a team manager for a team in this company. It was in this year, after all the experience, that I realized that it is neither in the area of law, nor in the corporate area that is my purpose and, therefore, I decided to try this project.
